The Bay Port Inn is now for sale. The owners announced in a Facebook post Tuesday evening that the Inn would be posted with a realtor Wednesday and the restaurant will be available for purchase.

“It comes with a heavy heart but I wanted to personally announce that we have decided to put the restaurant for sale,” read a post on the inn’s Facebook page. “The posting will be live with a realtor tomorrow. I personally want to say thank you to all of my customers, staff, friends and vendors with whom I have become to know and love. I can only hope the new owners have as much love to give as I did. Thank you again for your continued support.”

“I personally want to say thank you to tall my customers, staff, friends and vendors with whom I have become to know and love,” the Facebook post read. “I can only hope the new owners have as much love to give as I did.”

According to the post, the inn will remain fully operational in the meantime, and an announcement will be made once it is sold so patrons can use the remainder of their gift cards and points.

“I look forward to my future endeavors, but unfortunately this isn’t it,” the post read. “Thank you again for always being the best customers. Thank you to my staff for always being the best employees under the sun. I will forever be grateful for all of your hard work and will never forget the bond we’ve made.”

The Tribune reached out to the Bay Port Inn, but the owners declined comment additionally at this time.
