According to Rightmove, businesses are up for sale in Largs, Troon, Girvan and Straiton, ranging in price from £260,000 to £2.5 million. 

Here we take a look at the five Ayrshire hotels currently looking for new owners to take over…

South Beach Hotel, Troon

This is described as a “unique opportunity” to buy the seafront hotel that has been owned by the same family for over four decades. 

The hotel has a total of 28 rooms, with a main bar, lounge and large function room on the ground floor. 

The current owners are looking to retire, and the hotel is said to trade “very profitably” in the prominent location.
