Big John’s Pizza in Whitehall posted to Facebook announcing that they’re looking for someone to take over the restaurant.

WHITEHALL, Mich. — The owners of a popular Muskegon County pizza place are hanging up their hats and preparing to sell the business.

Big John’s Pizza in Whitehall posted to Facebook announcing that they’re looking for someone to take over the restaurant.

“After 5 1/2 years of feeling the call, prayer and over 8 years of hardwork, sweat, lots of sacrifice of time with family, tears, heartache, and stress we have decided to sell the business,” read their post.

They acknowledged that leaving the business behind will be sad for them, and also for the community. They said they’re praying for someone to step up to take over.

“We are in a new season of life and honestly just don’t have the energy to move it,” they said.  “We will be stepping out in Faith to follow God’s plan for our lives.”

The sale of the business will include the business name, brand, all equipment and more. They said they also have another suggested location for the business along with floor plans and a contractor for anyone interested.

They’re asking $300,000 for the sale.
